I first wrote about my love for graphic designer (she should be an interior designer) Ashley Putnam's work here and here. Now she's gone and knocked my socks off again with this farmhouse family get-away in Round Rock, Texas.
What a change in style (in some ways) from her previous two houses. This one feels a bit more rustic and neutral compared to her previous abodes, but the eclectic nature of her decorating still manages to look cohesive and so well done. I could move straight in and wouldn't change a thing!

I just went back and read your other two posts on her...I can see why you love her. Very pretty and livable designs. Her rooms make you want to hang out there :)
ReplyDeleteYes. Yes! YES! I love the white walls with the gray trim. Exactly what I've wanted to do in my front hall but can't decide on the right white and right gray. Perfect paired with the brown woods. The horizontal planks are great too. I would dump the Hudson Bay blanket but other than that, I think it's a home run.
ReplyDeleteCamille, oh my goodness, where did you find this?? This is crazy good! Does she have talent or what? I have to say I'm a bit more partial to her home in houston, but this is so good! I can't wait to spend a lot of time analyzing it....I already notice a couple of pieces from her Houston home! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love her simple, eclectic style! Like you, I could move right in...hello roomate! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful home she created! I can't believe she's not a designer--you're right, she should be. And I noticed the Wyeth painting over the mantle too which I know must have caught your eye. It looks like they have taken out the landscape and just left Christina in the foreground. Would love to know the story behind that...
ReplyDeleteI can see why you are such a fan. Going to check out her other homes now too.

I love it all...makes me want to get going with a few projects...this is just filled with inspiration all around! There's nothing I don't absolutely LOVE! And I actually love the striped blanket...I have that blanket in red in my sons room and I think what I love about it here is the juxtaposition of the more formal headboard and mismatched side tables. What's not to love, sorry Steve, but disagree.
ReplyDeletePinning it ALL. Thanks for sharing!!
ReplyDeletePinning like a mad person....
