i have had my eye out for an old black dresser to make into a bathroom sink cabinet for the longest time now. it's hard to find the exact size i need but seeing these images will keep me on the hunt. thanks camille.
I'm glad I'm not the only one that is lusting after black lately!!! I tried to find an email for you so that I could work out a date for your to guest post for Design in Five (new series from yesterday) but couldn't find one? Can you email me? hausdesign@hotmail.com. Thanks!
I especially love them in all-white rooms, like the bathroom above. They have a large presence and sense of history which I adore. Thanks for the comment yesterday! I am glad to have made a new friend.
Not sure if you remember but I painted Grandpa Russel's world war II trunk black and painted the hinges gold but it was certainly crusty. I didn't have a spot for it so someone else has it now. But I do like the look!
I am SO with you! I have already pinned many of these. Thinking if the dark wood in my bath doesn't work out I could do some black paint and distressing!
